お金をかけずに DIY：おもしろい４０歳のバースディギフト



Gift #1:

この間４０歳の旦那さんの誕生日だったので、こんなプレゼントをあげました。額に入ったそんなに大きくない文字だけのポスター。生まれた年にどんな出来事があったかのリストで、最後の文章に「最も重要な出来事は、◯◯が誕生したこと」って本人の名前が入ってます。ちょっと泣かせるでしょ（笑）？

I gave this framed poster to my husband for his 40th birthday.
It's not a custom order or anything. I made it all by myself! Well, not completely, I actually got it from this website.

Their tool (app?) is really convenient and creates a professional looking poster for $9.70. The quality is really nice and looks stylish. I think it's worth paying rather than trying to make your own using Word or Photoshop.
I already had an extra black frame and a matting so didn't need to buy new one.

カスタムオーダーしたんじゃないんですよ〜、こんなサイトを見つけたんです。このツールとっても便利、文字の色も選べるし、書きたいことも自分の言葉に変えることも可能。で、受取人の名前を入れます。ダウンロードするのに＄９．７０かかるけど、これだけスタイリッシュでプロが作ったみたいな上質なものだったら価値があると思います。自分でワードとか使って作れそうだけど、実際こんなキレイにはできないんですよね、デザイナーじゃないと。
フレームはうちにあった使ってないものを使用。ちゃんとマッティングボード（ポスターの周りの白いところになる）も使えばカンペキ既製品みたい！

それからもう一つ、こっちは笑いをとるためのプレゼント。

なんてことないペーパーバッグの中身は・・・薬！でも M&M でできたクスリ。各色ごとに違う症状に効く（ということになっているジョークです）、頭痛とかイライラするときとか、腹部膨満感とか、なんせ４０歳ですからね（笑）。



The ideas came from same website where I got the poster.
I just gathered empty medicine bottles while helping getting rid of some expired medication from our cabinet anyways, and made fake labels using Word. Then printed it on sticker paper (I always have sticker printing papers because I use them for shipping labels for my Etsy shop). That's it! No cost (except M&Ms)!

このアイデアも、ポスターを作ったサイトに載ってたので拝借しました。薬のボトルは家にあったもの（どうせ期限切れの使わない薬を捨てないといけなかったんで）、ラベルはワードを使って作り、、、シールになってる印刷用のペーパーにプリント。シールのペーパーは Etsy のショップで郵送先をプリントして貼るのに使うんでいつもあるんです。というわけで、 M&M を買った以外はすべてタダ。

Since I was spending some time on Word and using printer, I made this cake topper, too.

ワードとプリンターをいじるついでに、これも作ってプリント。ケーキの上にのっけました。

 

All this birthday preparation was done within two days without leaving home :)
